ALL out-of-state horses are REQUIRED to have a current Health Certificate issued within 30 days of the competition. ALL horses are required to have a current negative coggins dated within the last 12 months. NO EXCEPTIONS

Birthplace of Secretariat and Home to Riva Ridge

The legendary birthplace of an American legend, The Meadow Event Park is where the racehorse hero, Secretariat, was foaled, March 30, 1970. In 1973 he galloped into racing history by being the first horse in 25 years to win the Triple Crown. His historic Belmont win, by 31 lengths, in a record 2:24, is a record that has not been surpassed.

As the birthplace of Secretariat and home to the
Official State Fair of Virginia, the Meadow Event Park

who visit. Located on 360 acres of rolling fields between
Washington D.C. and Richmond, the venue offers
facilities for a wide variety of events, which include
weddings and receptions, consumer and trade shows,
equestrian events, festivals, concerts, private parties,
