TO BENEFIT SOLITUDE MORGAN HORSE RESCUE

TRAIL CLINIC PRESENTED BY DAWN LEONARD

FROM 9:00-11:30- Price $60 per horse, held in covered ring

Learn how to apply trail training to your trail riding

Participants get firsthand experience with obstacles in the clinic and fix-it classes

RM Full Tilt Boogie+++\\. aka “Boogie” will be with Dawn as a demonstration horse. He is a National Top 10, Region Champion in English and Western Trail, English and Western Dressage, Western Pleasure, Sport Horse In hand, Sport Horse Under Saddle. He holds his Legion of Supreme Excellence. Dawn Leonard is a Nationally known trainer of Trail Horses and Riders. She has earned many trail honors, including – 1999 Morgan Grand National & World Champion Trail. US & Canadian Arabian National Champion Trail (both English and Western). Multiple Region and East Coast Championships in Trail. She has also been a USEF judge since 1996. She manages Livingston Manor Training Center in Spotsylvania, VA.

AFTERNOON “FIX-IT” TRAIL CLASSES

TO BE DONE ANYTIME FROM 12:30-3:00- $15 per class, held in covered ring

Trail in-hand, trail walk, trail walk/trot novice, trail walk/trot, trail open

AFTERNOON PLEASURE CLASSES

FROM 12:30-3:00- $10 per class, class schedule on next page

Judge: Katie White Umhoefer

Classes will include: English, Western, equitation, different age groups

ODMHA  SCHOOLING  SHOW  RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Stalls $40 per horse  – Tack Stalls $25 – Classes $10 ($8 if ODMHA member)
  • Grounds Fee (horses without stalls) $10. All entries on the grounds must pay either a stall fee or grounds fee regardless of whether they enter any classes.
  • PAYMENT OF FEES: Payment in full or an open check made out to ODMHA is required upon entering your horse.  Refunds will be given for pre-entries not shown.  There will be a $50 fee for returned/bounced checks
  • RIDER/HANDLER ATTIRE: Casual attire permitted; Boots with heels required; Proper headware required.
  • COGGINS TEST: Current (within 12 months of the date of the Show) Coggins test results are required for every horse on the grounds. Copy of Coggins must be presented to Show Secretary.
  • STABLING: All stalls have latching doors.  Stalls are available starting at 5:00 p.m. the day before the show.  Bring your own bedding, or purchase from Meadows Event park for $6 each.
